This is what I did to upgrade to Live Blog from the default DotNetNuke Blog.
I downloaded the module from http://Mandeeps.com
When you extract the .zip file there are versions for each version of DotNetNuke. I upgraded the site to the latest DotNetNuke so I chose the DNN62 version.
I used the Extension Wizard to install the module.
After installing the module, when I placed it on a page I was presented with the License Manager.
You enter the email address you used to buy the license and click a button and the activation key is emailed to you. I enter that and activation is complete.
Next, I am presented with the blog set-up and instructions on setting permissions.
I go to Manage Blog…
I select Settings…
I select Import…
I select the blog I want to import from (note, if you don’t see your Blog, contact Mandeeps for the latest import plug-in).
I enter the number for the Blog I want to import then click the Import button.
The existing Blog content is imported into Live Blog.
I repeat the process for all the other Blogs I have.
I perform the minor configuration described in the sample post (then I delete it as instructed).
The Blog is now ready to go!
